Getting to Zero

How it works

Our clinically-proven method makes a smoke-free life a real possibility. You've got what it takes; now here’s how it works.

Online doctor visit

Think of this like filling out the clipboard at the doctor’s office. Here you’ll tell the doctor about your health, medical history and medication preferences.

Confirm your identity

To finish the visit, you’ll need to verify your identity by easily uploading a photo of you and your ID with your phone or webcam. Fill out shipping information and that’s it, you’re done!

Doctor review

After completing the online visit, a physician will review your information–usually within 2 hours. If the doctor has questions, they will follow up via secure chat, phone or video.

Once approved, your treatment will be delivered to your door. At Zero, shipping is always free.

Set your Quit Day

Once your Quit Kit arrives, you'll pick a date 1-2 weeks in the future. This time will allow you to mentally prepare for your quitting journey.

If medication is part of your treatment plan, you'll start taking it before you quit smoking. Bupropion helps reduce cravings and it needs 1-2 weeks to start working.

Get ready to quit

The night before Quit Day, trash your cigarettes, lighters and ashtrays. Don’t keep anything. Replace smoking stuff with craving-fighters: straws, crackers, lollipops, whatever will help you get through cravings.

Quit Day arrives

When your Quit Day arrives, it’s time to put down the cigarettes and use your nicotine gum. Doctors recommend using a piece of gum every 1-2 hours for the first few weeks to help control cravings and withdrawal symptoms.

“After starting Zero’s treatment plan in only 4 Days I didn’t feel the urge to pick up a cigarette or take a pull of my e-cigarette…at all! It’s been two weeks now and I am still smoke-free, cigarette free, and e-cigarette free.”

– Justin H. from Boston
